Parmalat S.p.A., which is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, is controlled by the Lactalis Group since July 15, 2011. The Parmalat Group is a global player in the production and distribution of foods that are essential for everyday wellness: milk, dairy products (yogurt, cream based sauces, desserts and cheese) and fruit beverages, which generated revenues of more than 6.4 billion euros in 2015. More than 27,000 people work at Parmalat’s facilities in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australia. The Group has a direct present in 24 countries and has 92 factories.
Parmalat has a strong tradition of innovation and develops products with a high value added to improve the diet of its customers. The global brands of the Group are Parmalat for milk and dairy products and Santàl for fruit beverages. Zymil and Vaalia are international brands dedicated to functional products with a high value added. Among other local brands that play a key role in their respective markets, the most important include: Beatrice, Lactantia, Black Diamond and Astro in Canada; Pauls, Ice Break, Oak, Breaka and Harvey Fresh in Australia; Centrale del Latte di Roma, Chef, Berna, Sole, Puro Blu and Carnini in Italy; Sorrento in the United States of America; Balkis, Batavo, Boa Nata e Elegé in Brazil; Bonnita, Everfresh, Simonsberg, Steri Stumpie and Melrose in South Africa; Frica and La Campiña in Venezuela; Esmeralda, El Ciervo and Mariposa in Mexico; Galbani and Président, brands in exclusive license to the LAG Group, in the Americas.
