The creation of value for the Group will be based on three main elements of the guidelines that I have identified:
strategy, costs and shared values.
More specifically, this strategy will focus on increasing “value” in the milk segment, the Group’s main category in
volume terms, through an expansion of its line of high value-added products, while keeping in mind the specificities of
the areas where we operate.
In addition we will develop and further diversify the cheese category through our most recognizable brands and, for
example, by maximizing the potential of ethnic cheese specialties, while benefiting from the expertise and
competencies of the Lactalis Group.
In the other categories in which we operate, namely yogurt and fruit beverages, we will focus our efforts on
diversifying and enhancing the value of our product portfolio with the aim of consolidating our competitive positions.
Innovation remains a key success factor for the Group, which will continue to develop new products in the main
categories, anticipating consumption trends and responding to consumer needs.
Lastly, a strategic role is also being played by the management of sales channels, particularly exports, by increasing
the size and value of the business, and food service, by developing the professional product line.
As for costs, we will continue with the plan to improve performance in the industrial and logistics areas with the aim
of achieving greater efficiency and reducing costs with targeted programs.
Lastly, I believe that it is important to emphasize that our people are the key to the Group’s success and, for this
reason, it is crucial to be even more inspired by our values of Ambition, Engagement and with Simplicity and pay ever-
increasing attention to every detail, with the objective to be more efficient in the management of processes and
closer and more reactive to the evolution of our markets. All of the above must also translate into an empowerment
of the teams achieved also through their reinforcement.

track and answer new challenges.
