Policies adopted for socio-environmental issues
The Group adopted Policies and Guidelines to foster a responsible approach to the management of operating
activities in the different areas of the Company. These documents, which are based on the principles of loyalty,
transparency, honesty and integrity, define the reference principles for managing the social and environmental
issues addressed in the Decree. The goal is to increase awareness of these issues while at the same time sharing
best practices within the Group. The management of operating activities is often characterized by a strong local
connotation, which has an impact at the procedural level, where local specificities are taken into account, in line
with the principles upon which the Group is based, while fully complying with the reference regulations in the
countries where the Group operates. The table below provides an overview of the Group’s main guidance tools for
the socio-environmental issues defined by Legislative Decree No. 254/2016. An adequate disclosure of the policies
pursued by the Group is provided in the chapters that follow.
