In 2017, 97% of the staff was hired with full time employment contracts, in line with the data for 2016; the
remaining 3% was hired with part time employment contracts.

The definition of part time is not applicable in the United States because employees are classified based on the national legislation in effect
(“At will employment”) according to which either party can terminate the employment relationship at any time. For the purposes of this
document, Parmalat employees in the United States were considered as having been hired with a full time contract.
